I\u2019m not sure it gets more \u201cold lady\u201d than making doilies, but man I love doing it. I love the intricacy, the size of the fiber, the complexity, I love it all and I think it shows. I have entered in the large one (+30\u201d!!!) and the pink one in both the county and state fairs. I won best in class, judge\u2019s choice, and more! I am so proud of these. (Yup, that\u2019s me in that photo.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I call the large one my wedding mandala because it was the centerpiece on the guest table at my wedding. The photo you see with a bunch of doilies, well those were all made for my wedding. I used them as part of each tables centerpiece and then gave them away to all of the family that helped us make our day super special! It was a fun way for me to give a little back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
